Contrasting Monologues for Actors - Pick Scripts to Show Your Acting Skills

It's important to prepare two different (contrasting) types of monologues.  By having one serious monologue and one funny monologue prepared for any audition, then you can show your range as an actor.  Preparing one of each ahead of time, before there is an audition, gives you a change to really know the monologue and dive deeply into the characters.  This gives you an advantage over last minute monologue picks for an existing audition where you'll spend most your time memorizing instead of working on the character.

Go to the following links and pick one monologue from each (or view the monologue videos below and pick one from each play list).
