  1. I feel like the dream monologue was the best monologue. The actor really put their emotions into it, and I really felt for the character.

    1. Waiting on the bride monologue was so good, the only thing he missed was a bit more of serious expressions. I have seen many worried people, and he nailed the role, he knew how to control his eyes and not look at the camera, he knew how to move around, all of it. It actually looked like the character was real.
I hope these lessons take me to the Oscars some day..

  2. I've got to say for me it was a pretty close call between "A Breaking Heart" and "I can't stop" but a breaking heart was the best. It was the best not only because of physical things like her tears but the way she spoke made me feel something. She made it seem like she was really hurting. It was a great performance. The actor mad ea good job making it all seem real.

  3. I liked the “Staying Power free” video.
Because she was occasionally looking up at the sky, not just talking into the camera.
She wanted hope for her and others to make Earth a better place.
I think the actress did a very good job, she was basically talking to the universe.

  5. I feel that the Not So Perfect Child monologue is the best one. It was the best performance because the actress, Kasey Darlene, put her own emotions into it and breathe life into the teenage female character named Jamie. I saw the sad, painful expression in her eyes and it reminded me of thinking very sad thoughts that I would like to keep for myself and how depressed I was. I think she did a great job portraying the character that is so real. I love what her character is feeling.

  11. When I was watching these dramatic acting videos, I realized that some had to really force their emotions, making it noticeable, which made me not fully enjoy that script. Because of this notice, I tired to focus on the people who let it come naturally, making “A Breaking Heart” my favorite monologue out of the 28. When I was watching her, I became fully endorsed with what was happening at that moment. First off, it’s a very relatable script that girls all around the world handle daily, hopefully I won’t have to. Second, she made it seem so realistic, like it was a seen in a movie, the tears came naturally, I didn’t even notice it at first, the tone in her voice, the hurt, the voice crack from trying to hide the pain. I’m sure everyone has been in that place at least once, and seeing it in her, coming out like that, made me feel something, and that’s when you know that actress or actor, has touched you.
I want to see this actress become an Oscar winner to be completely honest. To act like that, to act broken, to pretend to be torn apart by words, is insane. Who knows maybe she had real life experiences with those emotions and feelings, and she tried to remember how that felt when she was acting. Maybe she’s just that talented, anyway no matter how she acted like that, it was incredible. It fully grabbed my attention.
