"Nothing Loves Me" Big Nose monologues in new published book about a Modern Cyrano
I completed a new update of my play "Big Nose (A Modern Cyrano)" which was badly in need of a rewrite. It has some excellent monologues in it including:
"Go Home" monologue for male http://freedrama.net/gohome.html
"Never Touch" monologue for male http://freedrama.net/nevertouch.html
"Die and Leave Thee" monologue for male http://freedrama.net/dieleavethee.html
"Hidden in the Night" monologue for female http://www.freedrama.net/juliet.html
And here is one more short monologue that we'll call...
"Nothing Loves Me"
by D. M. Larson
I never smelled anything so sweet before. And I know smells. My nose knows so much. A fine meal, the freshest flowers, the ripest fruit and even the subtle signs of an oncoming rain. But my nose knows so little about love. Because of my nose, I know nothing about it. I can love a good cup of coffee or the wonderful smell of spring, but nothing loves me back. I can love and appreciate so much more than everyone because of this glorious nose. But this nose keeps me from getting anything in return.
