Much of my life, I was hurting. I took so many wrong paths, and became a wanderer in the haunted forests of my soul. A labyrinth of never ending disappointments plagued my life. Success was empty and meaningless. I reached for the wrong fruit and was poisoned at the river’s edge. Yet, I kept drinking and filling my life with despair.
But you found me in the woods and offered me a way out. You took me to the mountain and showed me there was so much I was missing. I could see the new kingdom you offered me, modest, untouched by the darkness. A small paradise, with a simple shelter to keep us warm, a warmth I never felt before. A warmth I never found until I met you.
