PART 15 - FINAL SCENE - Happily Ever After
(SNOW and ROSE stay and watch in amazement. BEAR enters and sheds his skin and steps out as a handsome prince)
BEAR/PRINCE
I am the king’s son. The wicked dwarf put a spell on me when he stole my treasures. I was doomed to live in the forest as a wild bear until his death. I gave him the punished he deserved.
SNOW
Is it really you?
BEAR/PRINCE
Yes, Snow White. I was once the bear who visited you ever winter night… and fell in love with you.
ROSE
In love?
SNOW
And I with you.
ROSE
You too?
(SNOW and BEAR/PRINCE join hands)
BEAR/PRINCE
Can you love a prince as much as a bear?
SNOW
Of course.
(ROSE pouts)
ROSE
And you’ll live happily ever after.
BEAR/PRINCE
I have a brother.
ROSE
Really?
(During following, MOTHER comes out and then BROTHER enters for ROSE. SNOW and ROSE hug their MOTHER and then they all pose for the end)
ANGEL
Snow White married the prince and his brother wished to marry Rose Red. They found all great treasures the dwarf had stolen hidden in his cave and returned it to the people of the kingdom. Their mother lived peacefully with her children for many years. She took the two rose trees with her and she planted them by her window at the castle. Every year the most beautiful white and red roses bloomed for her and her girls.
